The TV reset checklist for turnovers
Give it to whoever does your turnovers. It covers the six apps that hold logins, where each sign-out hides, and the two settings that protect your card — in the order a person actually walks through them.
The checklist, ready to print
Written for Android TV and Google TV menus; Roku and Fire TV variants are noted inline where the path differs. Plain text, so it survives being taped inside a cabinet door.

- 1.Print it and tape it inside the TV cabinet or with the cleaning supplies — it's written for the person doing turnovers, not for you.
- 2.The 'Clear data' shortcut in section 1 is the fastest reliable wipe on Android TV; it's safe for streaming apps.
- 3.If a step doesn't match your TV's menus, write the real path on the printout — a corrected list beats a pretty one.
The honest limit of a checklist
This list works. It also depends on a human running it every single turnover, including the 8am same-day flip in high season — which is exactly when it gets skipped, and skipped turnovers are when a guest meets a stranger's account. A list that works 90% of the time still fails five stays a year.
The version that doesn't depend on remembering is the reason this site exists: Guest TV is a launcher being validated to run this whole checklist automatically at checkout time. Until it exists — or if it never does — the printout above is the honest state of the art for a small host.
