# TV reset — every turnover (4 minutes)

Do this after the cleaning pass, TV on, remote in hand.

## 1. The six apps that hold logins

Open each app. If a profile screen or a library appears, someone is signed in.

- [ ] Netflix — Settings (gear) → Sign out
- [ ] Prime Video — My Stuff → Settings → Sign out (on Fire TV this may be the OWNER'S account — do NOT sign out; check with the host)
- [ ] Disney+ — Profile → Log out
- [ ] YouTube — Profile icon → top row → Sign out (also check YouTube Kids)
- [ ] Spotify — Settings → Log out
- [ ] Globoplay / HBO Max / other local apps — Profile → Sair

Faster on Android TV, one app at a time: Settings → Apps → [app] → Clear data. Logs out AND clears the watch history in one move.

## 2. The two settings that protect the card

One-time setup, verify monthly:

- [ ] Purchase PIN is ON (Google TV: Settings → Accounts → Payment verification / Fire TV: Settings → Account → PIN)
- [ ] No saved card on the TV's store account that the PIN doesn't cover

## 3. The sixty-second sweep

- [ ] Input source is back on the launcher (not a dead HDMI)
- [ ] Cast history: Settings → Google Cast → clear paired devices, if the menu offers it
- [ ] Search history: Google TV → Settings → Privacy → Search → clear
- [ ] Remote works and has batteries (the #1 'TV is broken' message)
- [ ] The Wi-Fi card / welcome note is back where it belongs

## Roku note

If the device has Guest Mode (Settings → System → Guest Mode): turn it ON once and this whole list collapses to checking the remote batteries. It wipes logins by itself on the guest's departure date.
